Vault+ hides your private photos and videos behind a working calculator. On first launch, long-press the “=” key to set up your vault: choose an unlock code (and, optionally, a PIN). To open the vault later, type your code on the calculator and press “=”.
How do I open my vault?
Type your secret unlock code on the calculator and press “=”. If you set a PIN, enter it when asked. Any other calculation just works like a normal calculator.
I forgot my code or PIN. Can I recover my photos?
If you enabled backup (a sync account), sign in on the app’s setup screen and choose Restore to recover your library on any device. Without a backup, a forgotten code/PIN means the data cannot be recovered — this is by design.
How do I move my vault to a new phone?
Install the app, start setup, set a code and PIN, then choose “Restore from a backup account” and sign in with the email or phone you used for backup. Your synced photos and videos will download and decrypt.
What is the decoy vault?
A decoy is a second code with its own PIN that opens a separate, empty vault. It lets you reveal a harmless gallery if you’re ever pressured to open the app, keeping your real vault private.
How do I back up my photos?
Open the vault, tap the cloud icon, and create an account with your email or phone. New media then syncs automatically. You can sign out or delete the account any time from Settings.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Delete sync account permanently removes your account and all backed-up data from our servers. Reset vault erases everything on the device.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes — your photos and videos are encrypted with AES-256 on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details on backup and data handling.
